This particularly unique clear red flower with an unusual chrome eye, bright green throat and wire gold edge is named for the Garth Brooks' song "Standing in the Fire." When Stan and I were dating we used to drive his black corvette with the top down and have "Standing in the Fire" playing at full blast. The flowers are poised perfectly over arching foliage.
